Gauntlet Announces Three New Appointed Representatives

Gauntlet Group has appointed three new appointed representatives, who are already up and running with their own insurance broking businesses and making it their resolution to make 2016 a hugely rewarding year.

Gauntlet Lancashire has partnered with Leeds-based Gauntlet from its base in Preston and is the new business of Tim Hinchcliffe, who has previously worked for brokers such as Willis, Reynolds, Barnetts, Giles & HSBC, before joining AXA insurance in 2010.  He is working with commercial customers across Lancashire, with a particular concentration on motor fleet, motor traders’ combined, contractor’s all-risk, professional indemnity, private medical and property owners’ liability insurance.

Gauntlet Manchester, based in Radcliffe in Greater Manchester, is the business in which Gauntlet is backing new boss, Phill Knight, who was a director of a large acquisitive broker and who now has his sights set on handling the insurance requirements of larger commercial clients, motor fleets, care homes, larger hotels and multi-site retailers.  The new insurance business has a focus on north west based clients, although those further afield can also enjoy the benefits of having Gauntlet Manchester source the right cover, at the right price, on their behalf.

Phill will also be offering clients the excellent suite of health and safety consultancy services that Gauntlet provides to its commercial customers.

On the south coast, Gauntlet Price is already working with clients across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Surrey and London and is the new business of ex Willis and Jelf employee, Matthew Price.  Matthew is focusing primarily on all classes of SME commercial business and insurance protection for high net worth individuals.

All three appointed representatives are relishing the opportunity they have to build their own business autonomously, but with Gauntlet’s support in key areas such as money handling, administration, claims handling, IT and marketing.   The trio recognise the hard work required to build their enterprise, but are looking forward to a rewarding and fulfilling 2016, as they grow with Gauntlet and benefit from its reputation and ethical approach to business.
